Hello Everyone

My name is Michele Lawson I am a retired owner and founder of a publicly traded Nasdaq company that my husband and I took public in 1988. It was quite the rollercoaster taking this company from a 650 square foot office to over 40 offices and 5 other companies all under one holding company. Especially for someone who never went to college. Just shows you what hard work and a strong work ethic can do, and a husband that did go to college! I have been married to the same man for 40 years. Yes I know ladies hard to believe. I'd love to say it was all Roses but it wasn't. I have a two beautiful daughters and 6 grand kids. Raising kids is pretty tough I would never sugar coat it but in the end the rewards are great! I love my family and could not imagine a life without them. I currently have 2 horses, 2 cats and one dog. A 97 year old mother who makes me laugh everyday and friends who I cherish. My life is very full and I am truly grateful. I love reading books that transform me away from the realities of everyday life. I enjoying baking and eating what I bake. I am not much of a cook thats what my husband is for he's good at it. I enjoy renovating houses and decorating. As in every womans DNA I love shopping and a good sale. Especially the ones you tell your husband buy one get one free. We go out to dinner alot and I'm always looking for the next new one to check out. In my spare time I like to make beaded jewelry. It relaxes me and I'm told I'm pretty good at it. We now live in Jacksonville Florida but have lived in Vegas, Virginia, Tennessee, New York and South Florida. I can honestly say I love Jacksonville. The people here are so friendly and the weather has 4 seasons and no snow. I know this is alot to take in, I hope to entertain you with many stories from the past and present that will make you laugh and cry so hold on for the ride.
